يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
“Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.”
Al-Baqarah 2:153
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
“Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.”
Al-Baqarah 2:153
to lean, to incline
He said, “If only I had the strength against you or were able to get the refuge of some strong support!”
And do not incline towards the unjust, for the fire will touch you – and you do not have any supporter other than Allah – then you will not be helped.
And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little.
In response, he turned away along with his army and said, “He is a magician or a madman.”
